Human behavior is always a surprise. We know that we must have to achieve Success in life and we tend not to take action. We have many reasons for not achieving what we want. Many times, although we know that we are logically right, we tend to move away from it, the reason being Emotions. Emotions are what drive us every day, at every moment. Imagine that you are in your bed and your mind knows that it is good to exercise, you say to yourself: “Do you want to do it today? Or do I start tomorrow?” and you know that this emotion that sneaks in decides your destiny. This small difference could create a big impact on the quality of your Life.

First of all, to be successful, you must set your GOALS. If you do not set your Goals, it is very difficult to achieve your results. And you may have defined your goals, developed a strategy too, but if you don’t have MOTIVATION?? You won’t even take the first step. It’s like having the best car in the world with all the parts working perfectly, the car has the ability to go fast with the best fuel efficiency. But if there is no driver and/or if the driver doesn’t start the car and start it up, the car doesn’t even move. Motivation is like that spark for the engine. This is what makes the human motor move. You may have the best talents or have acquired the best skills, but if you don’t have motivation you won’t get very far. Motivation is the engine that drives you to do what you are doing.

“How soon ‘not now’ becomes ‘never'” – Martin Luther King

Motivation is the desire to achieve a goal. Motivation with enthusiasm and energy really gets us going in life. Motivation comes to you in two ways

has. Motivation of external factors: when you see something happen, you are motivated and moved by it. You are successful in some act of yours and when you see these results you get excited and motivated more to achieve it. Yes, this should always happen for you, however, when you want to achieve great things, there is a chance that you will fail and that is when you want the highest level of motivation to overcome failure and achieve more in life. Although this works, you can’t really enjoy it every time and you can’t depend on it to motivate you.

b. Motivation from within: This is the most powerful form of motivation. At any moment we have all the necessary resources and we must take advantage of the right kind of resources. What creates Motivation is Passion or Interest. The moment you Live with Passion you don’t need anything else to drive you. They simply drive you to achieve the best in life. Motivation is basically due to certain internal images that we run in our minds. Right now, if I asked you to close your eyes and recall a time when you felt motivated and felt the same way you did during that time and intensify the feeling, I’m pretty sure you would have felt the motivation within you as well. As I was saying, it is about giving your 100% in these exercises. When you set your goals, they should automatically motivate you. It should give you a sense of drive so that you can achieve more in life.

As I said before, motivation acts exactly like the fuel in a car. If fuel is reduced, you need to be cautious and still make sure the efficiency of the car is maintained. Otherwise, the car could be damaged and come to a complete stop. Or even if the fuel is totally dry, the car stops. Either way it’s not good. In the same way, if you don’t stay motivated, you won’t be able to maintain the power to continue what you’re doing. Let’s say if you set a goal for yourself to reduce your weight by 20lbs in 1 year, then you must lose your focus and can only aim for this much later. It doesn’t motivate you to achieve. However, if you want to lose 2 pounds in 3 weeks, it motivates you. It remains the same for the simple reason that you haven’t gotten into smaller chunks. Small tasks are easy to accomplish and give you more drive to accomplish them. And often success in one field provides motivation to succeed in another endeavor.

How to stay motivated?

1. Visualization – This is a very powerful and easy way to stay motivated. Many coaches around the world use this visualization technique to keep players motivated all the time. All you need to do is see yourself achieving the Goals that you have set for yourself and that will definitely keep you motivated. Make a picture of you achieving the goals and the kind of benefits you get from this. This will really push you to achieve more and will never make you procrastinate.

2. Associate the pain of not achieving your goals: Aside from giving yourself pleasure by achieving your goals, associate some pain and see what doesn’t happen when you don’t achieve your goals. It could make you feel very embarrassed and make you feel bad and guilty. This will also drive you to reach your Goals always.

A boy who was failing in his studies, not doing very well suddenly began to get very high grades in school and also began to show a lot of interest in studying. The reason was found to be that the child’s father passed away suddenly. And he was the breadwinner of the family. The death of his father acted as a powerful motivator for that child. However, it is not mandatory for painful events to happen in our lives, but before it happens, if we take control of ourselves, we become better.

Anyone is successful just because they take ACTION. And action is only possible when you stay motivated. Only when you have the right amount of motivation do you really achieve in life. This is the lasting success of anyone who has achieved more. That is why we always start motivated and achieve the best in life.
