The watch has a 23-carat gold plating on its bracelet, which blends in nicely with its overall appearance. The watch not only looks great, but also feels light on the wrist.

The Invicta 8928 features a 21-jewel Japanese Miyota movement, which can be clearly seen through the watch’s transparent case back. Although, some may disagree and argue that automatic watch movement is not as accurate as quartz, which is true. You may experience that some automatic watches add around 1-3 minutes every week, but with that being said, if you know how to handle an automatic watch, you won’t be disappointed with this Invicta 8928 pro diver. Invicta watches are known for producing reliable and precise automatic movements. After almost two decades of quartz movement, companies are still making and people are buying automatic movement watches and that alone tells the truth about automatic watch technology. However, just like any other automatic watch, this watch will also stop after 24 hours if it is not wound. But when it stops, you can easily start the watch by gently shaking them side by side or by pulling the watch spindle and winding it.

Automatic movements require much more care with watches, as the mechanisms inside these watches are delicate. But for those familiar with automatic movements, the Invicta 8928 is an excellent dive watch in the $100 price range.

The case of this watch is made of stainless steel while the bracelet is plated with 23K yellow gold. The case and bracelet make this watch look more contemporary, fashionable and exuberant, more like expensive Swiss watches. The watch has a blue dial, which is quite radiant and matches the color of the bezel very well. The dial is easy to read even in the dark. The bezel is a unidirectional rotating type. The case back is transparent, so you can see the movements of the watch. The date window is located at the three o’clock position. The watch is water resistant to 200 meters (about 660 feet).

Overall, this Invicta watch is certainly a good deal primarily for its features and value. The watch has a very satisfactory fit, finish and design. You can’t expect more features from a dive watch in the $100 price range. In many terms, it’s the right watch.

A little note here though, this watch also comes with a Swiss automatic movement version, but general customer feedback reveals that it is not as good as the Miyota Japanese version.
