iPad is a tablet designed and manufactured by Apple. The design is elegant and spectacular. It looks more like the iPod Touch and iPhone, but it’s much bigger. The 9.7-inch front LED LCD screen is scratch resistant. The rear bodywork is covered in silver-colored aluminum with the Apple logo.

This device is a combination of a laptop and a smartphone because it has Wi-Fi and a 3G modem for surfing the Internet, uploading and streaming media, and installing software. It runs a version of the operating system almost similar to that of the iPod Touch and the iPhone, with few modifications.

display

The LED-backlit IPS display does not disappoint. The colors on the screen are vibrant and saturated. The screen is multi-touch and handles input excellently. If you’re used to the iPhone, then you know how good Apple’s input technology is.

Included Apps

iPad includes the following apps: Mobile Safari (for browsing the web), iBooks, Calendar, Contacts, Mail, iTunes, iBookstore, Video/iPod/YouTube, The iWork Suite, and many more.

Internal

On board there is WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, a digital compass, an accelerometer, a microphone and an ambient light sensor. The 3G model will add UMTS/HSDPA data along with an AGPS chip. This device is available in capacities of 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB.

Drums

The iPad uses a 25-watt-hour lithium polymer. It is non-removable and surprisingly it can last about 8-10 hours.

restrictions

Although the iPad supports many features, it also has some limitations that are summarized below:
• Adobe Flash is not available
• Not equipped with a camera
• Does not support multitasking
• Tiny screen size: 9.7 inches
• The storage capacity is not so great
• Non-removable battery
• Not having an HDMI port

Despite the limitations that Apple has placed on some aspects of this device, what it says to the market is significant. The iPad is sleek and powerful unlike any computer you’ve ever used!
