It is common to see dogs whine and run around, one would definitely wonder why they do that. Whining is a low pronunciation, usually a yelling or whining sound. Dogs aren’t exactly drunk when they whine, but it’s more of an emotional fix and they do it because they want to get a message across. It is similar to humans shedding tears. Since dogs are sensitive creatures, they are subject to the slightest signs of discomfort and it is nothing that makes them feel good.

The causes of the whining of the dogs are sadness, hunger, asking for something, seeking attention or when they want to poop. Puppies can be saddened by the absence of older dogs in their family, especially the mother dog. They complain as a sign of distress and it is a call that they feel lonely or that they are in pain. It may be past her mealtime, that’s why she’s whimpering. The dog whimpers like a child who wants to ask for something. A dog whimpers because he wants to play with his owner and wants attention. Dogs that are potty trained whimper when they feel like pooping and can’t because they’re not in the right place.

Dogs squirm because of the itching and pain that comes from their anal sacs, which are basically scent glands that expel foul-smelling fluids. The anal sacs leak every time the dog poops and they also spray liquid when he gets scared. The anal sac spray is not poisonous but smells bad because of the bacteria. Not all dogs smell the same because it is designed by nature. Dogs run around to get rid of that extreme itchy feeling and rub their behinds on the ground.

To get a dog to stop whining, one can do things like understand the tone of the whining, play hard to get and deny his advances, and teach him hand and body gestures to set limits. If it is not minor whining and is rooted in deep physical and psychological pain, then the dog should be taken to the vet.

One would think that a dog likes the itchy feeling while running. In fact, slipping creates a very painful sensation in your dog and reaches a point where the dog suffers from poop impaction. Running is the only way a dog sees to relieve himself. A dog may need professional treatment at this stage.

One does not need to see a vet unless a dog’s crying borders on the pathological. A dog’s fur and fangs has nothing to do with whining unless it’s a horror movie. If a dog’s skating is not very serious, as in the case of purebred dogs, you just have to keep it clean and well treated.
