Have you ever bought a World of Warcraft Gold Guide that is up to date and filled with so many different strategies that you never needed to farm for gold again? Well, probably not. Because you are reading this article, right? Anyway, Gold Guide has become quite popular now in Cataclysm because you can make more gold than ever before, but this can be quite difficult if you are not familiar with the concept of making gold. You probably know of a place called The Auction House, but have you ever used it properly? I’m here to give you three reasons why it’s worth it, in my opinion.

1. Different gold strategies.

— If you don’t want to solely rely on a single way of making gold, as a breeding ground for different volatiles, nor do you want to rely on buying and reselling a single item. I’ve seen people farm a lot of Volatile Airs early on in Cataclysm, this was pretty smart because they could sell up to 100 gold on the Auction House, and items that needed Volatile Airs sold for quite a bit as well.

Now, when a few months have passed, some people are still farming these and others are just releasing Volatile Airs on the auction house, which is pretty crazy because their price has gone through the roof. (Yes, I just made up the word skyfallen.) The point is that as the market changes, so must you, and most gold guides tend to update frequently so you know you’ll have the latest information at your fingertips.

2. Make gold before 85.

— These guides tend to have many ways to make gold for all different players, the novice, the casual, and the pro. I personally struggled to make enough gold for my first mount, and then there was the gear, potions, repairs, flight costs, and of course, that awesome pet you had to get from the Auction House. These gold guides tend to start easily with the basic stuff like how to install plugins and publish your first articles and then move on to heavy gold production strategies. There are some guides out there that specifically teach you how to make gold while leveling up, which is pretty awesome in my opinion because every new player has problems making gold and sometimes these problems last until level 85 and beyond. It’s pretty funny when you see a level 52 warrior in green with more gold than a fully epic death knight at 85.
