We had a problem with her bites when we first brought her home. Play biting to be exact and with two small children this was not good. It didn’t take long for her to grow up a lot. When I was one year old, I could crawl wherever I wanted. I weighed only 115 pounds back then and she weighed 99 pounds herself. He once dragged me on my knees in front of some men who were working in a building near where we lived. I was so embarrassed and very angry at my faithful friend.

It became clear that this wonderful bitch was more than I could handle, but I have to be honest and it never crossed my mind to get rid of her. She needed to have some control, even though she knew she had to be trained. Oh, he could sit and talk, but that was not enough.

I bought a book and started training my dog. I was at a huge disadvantage because I had waited until my dog ​​was fully grown to start training. It is very important that you start training your German Shepherd or any large breed at the age of six months. It will make training much easier for you.

Well it took some time and patients but I was able to train my German Shepherd and what a great dog he turned out to be. I put in a lot of work and it was worth it. She could be with me everywhere. Even without a leash, he would obey all my orders. Oh, and I was never ashamed of being dragged back.
