Announced in February 2014 and released just a month later in March, the Sony Xperia Z2 model was a huge success. Its beautiful design was complemented by its life-proof features (we love that it’s waterproof and dustproof!), Yet it was still packed with incredible specs that really made it a hit. Unfortunately for those who recently bought the Z2, they may be disappointed to see that the new Z3 will launch sometime in August this year.

Yes, it’s true: Sony is giving consumers the old one two! Hitting them not with a flagship smartphone in a year, but with a second just months later! Not many manufacturers can get away with such tact, but can Sony with its new Xperia Z3? Let’s take a look at the review and find out!

Sony Xperia Z3 review

  1. specs – Configured to have a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 4k, this phone already sounds pretty good. The Xperia Z3 is also said to be just 6.1 millimeters thick and will be powered by a six-gigabyte RAM, a powerful 3.7k mAh battery, and an eight-core processing chip clocked at 2.5 GHz.
  2. Characteristics – Like the previous Z2, the Xpera Z3 will be water and dust resistant as this was a huge selling point for its predecessor. Plus, you can also expect the Z3 to have an amazing camera that will take phenomenal photos; reports indicate that the Z3 will feature a 28.7-megapixel rear camera. Unfortunately, we don’t know yet if it will feature a tri-light display, but it is rumored to keep its fingers crossed!

Sony Xperia Z3 general opinion

Despite “coming soon” statements, the Sony Xperia Z3 is known to launch sometime this fall. Then we can really get our hands on this beautiful new smartphone and see what it really looks like! Fortunately, there are plenty of specs and features available already, and from what we’ve seen, we definitely approve of them.

Sony Xperia smartphones are generally priced around $ 600, so we can expect the same for this next model. Overall, with the high standards and already fantastic specs we know of, this seems like a must-have model that even recent Z2 owners will want to upgrade.

Check back for more information on actual pricing, detailed specs, and release date as August approaches!
